Habitual

Habitual brings fresh seasonal arrangements to your home or workspace on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Each delivery features blooms in a hand selected pottery vessel by Dodson Handmade.
Subscriptions begin with a 3 month minimum commitment. After the initial term subscriptions renew automatically at the same cadence. Each arrangement is made to order using the freshest flowers ensuring each arrangement is unique and high quality lasting from 5-14 days.

Habitual subscriptions have a 3 month minimum commitment. After the initial term, subscriptions renew automatically and can be paused or canceled at least 7 days’ notice before the next scheduled renewal. Early cancellations within the first 3 months aren’t permitted but if something unexpected comes up, please reach out and we’ll find a thoughtful solution.

Your subscription will renew automatically at the same cadence and size you selected so your flowers will continue without interruption. If you’d like to make a change or pause before your next renewal, send us an email a week before your next scheduled renewal.

Yes, after the initial 3 month term, you may pause or skip upcoming deliveries with at least 7 days’ notice. Please email and we’ll make changes on your behalf.

After the first 3 months, you can make changes to your initial selections. Any adjustments must be made 7 days in advance to next scheduled delivery.

Each pottery vessel is reused as part of your subscription. When your next delivery arrives, please return the previous vessel so it can be cleaned and refreshed for another arrangement :) This practice allows us to maintain a sustainable small batch process.
Ordering & Delivery

Not at this time. Every arrangement is made to order with fresh flowers sourced for the week.

Deliveries are available within a 5 mile radius of Jefferson Park. A flat $10 fee is applied at check out for all local deliveries. Pick-up is also available at our studio.

If no one is available at the time of delivery your flowers will be left in a shaded safe spot whenever possible. You’ll receive a message once delivery is complete.
Design & Materials

Small- could be a sweet gesture. Perfect for desk, side tables, restaurant tables or intimate cafe settings. Compact, conversational and easy to place anywhere
Medium- makes a statement. Fuller, more layered and ideal as a less dramatic centerpiece for dining tables, countertops or small conference rooms.
Large- lush and sculptural. Meant to take up space and be noticed. Perfect for lobbies, reception desks, or home focal points.
Extra Large- Grand and commanding. Abundant in scale, rich in texture and designed for spaces like galleries, retail settings or building lobbies.

You’re welcome to share preferences in your order notes and we’ll do out best to honor them within the week’s palette and selection but no promises.

Not exactly, each arrangement is one of a kind. The overall feel of the brand is what you’ll get- something colorful, whimsical, contemporary and sometimes structural. All flowers are seasonal so we ask that you be open to arrangements, that’s part of the fun in subscribing.

Check water levels and add as needed. Lightly misting can help arrangements stay fresh longer. We suggest keeping arrangements out of direct sunlight. Each arrangement includes a small care card as a reminder.

Yes, the pottery vessels are either hand thrown or hand built in small batches designed to be reused and refreshed as part of the Habitual subscription.
The Gesture

Orders for The Gesture must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. Larger or custom requests may need more notice and require an email for consideration. The earlier the better.

The Gesture is ideal for celebrating, giving thanks, offering comfort or simply just because.

The Gesture is delivered either wrapped in paper or in a simple keepable clear glass vase…your choice!

Yes, you may include a short handwritten note with your order. Please include whatever message you’d like in ‘notes’ section during check out.

Wrapped arrangements come bundled, ready to slip into your own vase. Vase arrangements arrive ready to display, styled in one of our carefully picked vessels.

We accept major credit/debit cards through Squarespace Checkout (powered by Stripe).

All floral orders are final sale and non-refundable as each piece is custom made to order using perishable materials. If there’s ever an issue with your order, please reach out within 24 hours of delivery so it can be reviewed.

If a delivery is delayed or damaged please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will review the situation and work with you to find a resolution.
